Tiny bird in brass birdcage
Tiny bird made from metal leaves incorporated into a vintage brass birdcage.
My friend Chris kindly drilled a hole in the bottom of the cage and I added a wind up mechanism for movement and sound which I recycled from a broken toy. I used the casing from an old brass alarm clock to raise up the cage and hold the mechanism and used a hairclip to attach the tiny bird to the mechanism, which was actually the trickiest part of all!
